What is a ward panel? 

Ward panels serve as a platform for residents to voice their concerns about local crime and disorder to their Safer Neighbourhoods Team (SNT). They encourage active participation from community members in shaping the policing priorities for their area. The panel helps identify and prioritize the most pressing issues in the ward, which then guide the SNT's actions. Ward panels also play a role in holding the police accountable for addressing the concerns raised by the community. These meetings are specific to a ward, ensuring that local issues are addressed at a local level. Ward panels usually meet at least every three month
